Type
In a CoreXY printer two fixed motors drive a pair of crossed belts that move the print head in X and Y, and the bed only drops a little after each layer. Because the motors don't ride on the gantry, there's less moving mass, which is why CoreXY machines like Bambu Lab's X1 and P1 series and Creality's K1 can print fast. Most come enclosed, which keeps heat in for ABS and ASA. On a used one, check the belt tension and the rods or rails the head slides on. Bambu says its carbon rods should be cleaned with alcohol and never greased, so ask the seller how they looked after them.
