The P1P came out in November 2022 as the stripped-down way into Bambu Lab's CoreXY platform. It has the X1 Carbon's 256 mm cube build volume and fast motion system on an open frame with no doors or lid, a stainless all-in-one hotend and a basic 720p camera. Plenty of owners closed it up later. Bambu sells an official kit with glass, side panels and a door that turns a P1P into a P1S, and a firmware setting marks the printer as upgraded so it prints with P1S profiles. So a used P1P can be one of two printers. A bare one is a fast PLA and PETG machine, and one with the kit fitted is close to a P1S. Check which you're looking at, and whether the panels are all there.

There's no known P1P defect. With no hours counter and the nozzle built into the hotend, a recent print and the plate tell you most, and the carbon rods are worth asking about.

The P1P keeps no hours count, and its nozzle is built into the hotend. So ask to see past jobs in the Bambu app, and whether the spare hotend from the box is still there. Used ones mostly ask $330 to $430 delivered. We'd offer on the 107-hour one with a high-temp flat bed at $388, and the bare one at $298 costs less if its answers check out.
