Used Bambu Lab 3D printers

Bambu Lab was founded in Shenzhen in August 2020 by four engineers from DJI, the drone maker, led by Ye Tao, who had run DJI's consumer drone department. Its first printer, the X1 of 2022, was an enclosed CoreXY that calibrated itself and printed in four colors with the AMS, and it changed what people expected a home printer to do. The P1P and P1S, A1 mini and A1, and the X1E followed within about eighteen months. Bambu's printers lean on its cloud and apps, which is convenient but has caused trouble. A 2023 cloud outage left some printers misbehaving, and the January 2025 authorization firmware drew heavy criticism before Bambu added LAN Only and Developer Mode options. For a used buyer, the useful part is Bambu's wiki, which documents the maintenance, packing and parts for every model.
