Anycubic Photon Mono X 6Ks
The Photon Mono X 6Ks sits between Anycubic's small and big resin printers. A 9.1 in 6K mono screen covers a plate of about 196 x 122 mm, with 200 mm of height, so it'll take a full squad of miniatures or a tall bust in one go. It levels by hand at four points, prints from USB, and runs its plate on dual linear rails. The screen wears a replaceable anti-scratch film, and Anycubic rates the panel itself at 2,000 hours. The release film is ordinary FEP, and Anycubic still lists FEP that fits it. The screen is the catch for a used buyer. We couldn't find a replacement 6Ks screen in Anycubic's store, so buy one whose screen looks clean and whose seller can tell you roughly how hard it's been worked.

Printer check
Hours, screen, vat and firmware
- Print hours
- We couldn't confirm a print or screen-time counter on the 6Ks either. Ask the seller for a rough hour count, which tells you how much of the 2,000-hour screen rating is left.
- LCD screen
- A 9.1 in 6K mono LCD masks each layer, under a replaceable anti-scratch film, and Anycubic rates it at 2,000 hours. In a photo of the bare screen with the vat out, look for cracks and for resin creeping under the protector.
- Vat and release film
- The vat uses FEP film, and Anycubic lists its FEP as fitting the 6Ks. Dents or cloudy patches, seen with light behind the vat, mean new film. Clear and taut is good.
- Build plate and levelling
- The laser-engraved aluminum plate is levelled by hand at four points. Ask for a photo of the plate and when it was last levelled. It should be flat with no cured resin stuck on.
- Z axis
- The plate rides on dual linear rails with a 10 µm step. Running it up and down from the menu should be smooth and quiet on a healthy one.
- Firmware and account
- It prints from USB. Anycubic lists no Wi-Fi or app for the 6Ks, so there's no account to unlink.
- Spare parts
- Anycubic sells FEP film that fits the 6Ks. We couldn't confirm a replacement screen for it in Anycubic's store, so a cracked or worn screen is a bigger problem here than on the M5s or Mono 2. Pay attention to screen condition.
- Shipping and packaging
- With no Anycubic packing guide that we found, ask the seller to empty the vat, remove the plate and pack it apart from the screen. Resin leaks and a cracked screen are what to check for on arrival.

Check the listing photos against these lists, and ask the seller about anything you can’t see. A missing sheet, add-on or power supply should come off the price.
What to check
Screen life matters more on the 6Ks than on most, because we couldn't find a replacement screen for sale. Anycubic rates it at 2,000 hours, and the FEP film wears too.
- 01Model name: Check the listing and label say 6Ks. The earlier Mono X and Mono X 6K are different printers.
- 02Screen: Ask for a photo of the screen with the vat removed. It should be uncracked, with no resin under the protector film.
- 03Hours: Ask roughly how many hours it has printed. Anycubic rates the screen at 2,000 hours.
- 04FEP film: Look at the vat film against a light in the photos. Clear and taut is good, and dents or holes mean new film.
- 05Build plate: Ask for a photo of the plate. It should be flat and clean.
- 06Test print: Ask for a photo of a recent print. Sharp detail and no layer lines out of step mean the screen and rails are fine.
- 07Packing: Ask whether the vat will be emptied and the plate removed. The screen should travel with its protector on and nothing resting on it.

We couldn't find a replacement 6Ks screen in Anycubic's store, so a worn one may be hard to fix. Ask how many hours it's printed against Anycubic's 2,000-hour rating.
